When you hear “falling in love with yourself”, do you think about the Greek mythology Narcissus? You might be surprised to find out that it’s actually what people think! But that’s simply further from the truth.
Falling in love with yourself is discovering your value, your own happiness, the joy you bring to yourself and others, this is what helps the quality of your life.
Whether you realize the truth of that which you are or not, there is no doubt that you’ll simply become much happier once you accept yourself and grow to love yourself. You know yourself better than anyone else does which is why it’s so important to learn to fall in love with yourself so you can be as happy as you can be.

Let go of all negative beliefs about yourself
“I’m not enough.” “I am worthless.” “I am a failure.” “I am unlovable.” “I am useless.”
Yes, those ones.
If you notice, those just lie the mind is telling you based on what you learned in the past.
How to let this belief go?
I use Sedona Method to release all the negative beliefs that don’t serve me.

It’s best to try and do this every day.
While it may seem time-consuming, you should try to go to the mirror each morning, look at yourself and say out loud what you like about yourself. When the mind tells you the opposite, that’s the opportunity to use the method to let go of those voices.
Challenge any negative thoughts you may have about yourself. Eventually, this is going to make negative thoughts appear less frequently.
You can start falling in love with yourself.
Surround yourself with positive and supportive people
We all need a support system, no matter what we’re going through such as rehab, an injury, or any type of stressful situation. Surrounding yourself in a support system is going to remind you of your worth because this group of people already knows your worth. They think the best for you and care a lot about you.
Take a look at your environment
Sometimes, all you may really need is to just begin shaping your environment.
It’s so important that you’re in an environment that is going to make you feel good about yourself and just make you feel good in general. This could be as simple as making some changes at home such as redecorating your home. But it could be as big as just moving into a new environment that is better fitted for you.
Get out of your comfort zone
Apart from falling in love with yourself includes getting out of your comfort zone.
It’s so important to push your boundaries and try to learn something along the way. This can include trying something that you’ve always wanted to try such as dance lessons, learning a new language, or even traveling solo! Building new skills and pushing yourself is a marvelous way to prove to yourself how capable you are!
Self-care
Self-care can come in a large variety of forms. This can include allowing yourself to sleep more, eating a dish that you love, buying skin care products, or even something such as going on a shopping spree.
Self-care is so important as this is a way to prove to yourself how important you are. Self-care also includes doing little things for yourself that bring happiness.
Whatever way you like to practice self-care on yourself, just fully embrace it!
